Lack of coordination between the State institutions, when it comes to projects, can be considered as a national problem. A classic example of this is, developing and carpeting roads. When the Road Development Authority (RDA) completes construction or development work of a road, other State institutions dig up the road to install water pipes, telephone wires etc.
A similar incident was reported from Polonnaruwa, in the Flood Plains National Park (Jala Galum Nimaya) and Wasgamuwa National Park.
